WHAT IS THE KEEL OF THE RIMS

We added a continuous loop of bumps around the rim near the spokes, and this idea was inspired by the keel of the ship. With keel reinforcement, the lateral rigidity of our wheel rim is increased by 35%, and the impact resistance is improved by 30%.

We use a slope to fix the tire, which is the difference between our design and traditional design.

What are the benefits of this design：

1.Full-Time Fixed ：When the tire falls into the inside of the ramp, it will be in a tight state all the time and will not move when turning. This can avoid air leakage and reduce the loss of speed. The traditional way is to fix the tire with a small boss. The tire will be tight only when it is blocked by the boss. Therefore, when you enter a curve, the tire may slip and even worse, it may leak.

2.Higher Intensity：We know that only when the carbon fiber turns smoothly, can it give full play to its performance. We avoid the boss design because the boss will make the fiber turn sharply. The inclined plane design makes the carbon fiber smooth transition, which can give full play to the maximum performance of carbon fiber and increase the adhesion between layers of carbon fiber.

WHY IS THE RIM ONLY 21mm DEPTH?

In order to obtain higher comfort, we choose ultra-low 21mm depth. We know that when the depth of the rim is larger, the forward rigidity of the rim is greater, and the comfort is worse. Generally, the smaller the depth, the worse the impact resistance.

The reason why we dare to choose 21mm depth is that our keel structure disperses the stress on the position of the spokes of the rim, and the impact resistance performance of our rim is improved instead of decreasing.

Our rims come out of the mold as a finished product.Compared with the traditional process, there is no need to polish, so the original epoxy resin layer is retained on the surface, and the strength is stronger.

The PAINTLESS process does not need to be painted, while the traditional process needs to go through many times of painting treatment, and the excess paint will increase the weight.

Paintless that doesn't apply any post-production like painting, water sanding, etc. So it's even more environmentally friendly than traditionally made rims. NO wastewater emission during the whole process.

Customzied 3D print Epoxy resin decal,You can customize letters or simple patterns. One piece is also willing to customize(You need to communicate with the staff first)

Material:

Utilizes a blend of Toray T700 and T800 carbon fiber

Rim Warranty： LIFETIME

Conditions:

1. If any manufacturing defect occurs within 30 days from the date of purchase, LIGHT-RIDE is obligated to replace the rim(s) and pay the transportation cost. If any manufacturing defects occur after less than 31 days , LIGHT-RIDE is obligated to replace the rim(s) and you will bear the transportation costs.

2. We may send you a heavier version at our discretion. If we no longer manufacture the rims you buy, we will upgrade to the latest equivalent model free of charge.

3. The standard warranty program is not transferable and only applicable to the initial buyer.

4. Any problem found in the warranty replacement product shall be claimed within 7 days after receiving the replacement product, otherwise, the replacement product shall be deemed to have been solved. The warranty period is based on the original date of purchase and will not be reset with replacement rims.

5. This Warranty coverage does not cover:

a). Improper assembly or maintenance

b).Misuse of the product,damage or failures caused by a crash, accidental damage, heat damage

PACKING CARE

All products have to undergo three checks before shipment, and carefully wrap the EPE foam laminated film manually, and finally put them into the bubble bag to prevent them from falling down in transit.

Freight Policy

International freight transportation is a complicated process. We hope you know:

1. Import tax, tax is not included in commodity price or freight. Please consult the customs of your country to determine these additional charges before bidding / purchasing. These fees are usually charged by the shipping company that delivered the goods, or when you pick up the goods, please do not confuse them to charge extra freight. Furthermore, we are not responsible for any custom tax / tariff / value added tax (VAT)

2. Due to weather related delay in delivery, we will not provide a shipping refund.

3. Delivery to remote areas may increase delivery time.

4. We are not responsible for the goods confiscated by customs officers or similar organizations.

5. Due to unexpected customs duties or other taxes, orders cannot be returned or refunded.

6. The quoted freight is estimated based on the information you provided. International Freight quoted does not include customs duties, taxes or other unconventional customs brokerage fees. Other transportation costs, surcharges or surcharges may also apply. The final freight may vary depending on the destination and other factors specific to the order.

7. If you receive an order with obvious damage, please refuse to deliver. If you have accepted the delivery but find any shipping damage, please let us know immediately using the contact information attached to your order.

8. Please keep all packing materials and documents of the order in case of possible transportation damage. If you dispose of the packaging materials or try to return the goods without contacting us, it will jeopardize our opportunity to file a claim and you may not receive a refund.
